Purpose
Our aim is to equip you to discover and maximize your potentials needed to implement the will of God for your generation. We train men and women for Christian service in their local Churches and on the mission field, by promoting Christian character and spiritual devotion; a thorough knowledge of the bible and other related subjects that will enhance the development of their ministry skills.
Philosophy
This is based on the fact that human beings generate knowledge and understanding from their experiences in an environment that foster independence where the emphasis on the acquisition of knowledge is on the student.
Students will build
on their previous knowledge and experience through series of learning activities. This scaffolding of learning activities will allow learners to reach out and stretch their existing understanding of their ministry role and skills. Lecturers motivate and empower students through facilitation making them self-directed and in control of their own learning process.
Our curriculum has been designed to enable students demonstrate critical thinking, using the wisdom and knowledge in the word of God to effectively deal and solve problems. The programme is student-centred and run in a supportive and cooperative environment to bring the best out of our students.
The programme allow students to gain insight in working within the Christian ministry and fulfilling the call of God in their life through active involvement in practical pastoral ministry hence, bridging the practice-theory gap.
Our hope is that students who complete their courses will come out prepared and empowered to minister effectively .
